The day after Red Sox shortstop Nomar Garciaparra went 5 for 5 (and less than a week after a 6 for 6 ballgame) America Online's Baseball Forum headlined an injured no-name pitcher from the New York Yankees (One Mr. Lieber) who, amazingly, "pitched batting practice." (!!!)

Now any legit (read: paranoid) Red Sox fan will tell you that The Boss owns each and every American League umpire and most of the east coast sports writers as well, but until now I hadn't considered the necessity of scouring his portfolio for Time-Warner holdings.
